Nakd bars are becoming increasingly popular and are sold widely in an extensive range of shops. With their ever growing popularity, the makers are constantly developing new and unique flavours to keep up with the snack bar market.

Hungry, health conscious people are inclined to pick their nutty goodness over any other rivals due to their natural, unprocessed ingredients. My lunch breaks usually consist of scouring the shelves of Holland and Barrett looking for the next flavour to try. Unsurprisingly, it’s not very cost effective on my part and I tend to by 3 or more at a time.

I looked into making my own homemade nakd bars by following the recipes on the back of the packs. Cashew Cookie is my favourite flavour and also happens to be one of the flavours with the least ingredients. I think it was literally dates and cashews!
